Nestled in South-East Tallahassee in-between Capital City Country Club and Hilaman Golf Course, Indian Head Acres was founded in the 1950’s and has grown to include over 900 homes in the 32301 area. The neighborhood is near Cascades Park & Governor’s Park but also boasts it’s own park.

Indian Head Acres also has a baseball field, volleyball courts, basketball court, children’s play equipment, open fields as well as a lovely green-way with walking path and stream. This is a one-of-a-kind community that comes together for potlucks several times a year, and for annual events such as the Nene Fest and a long-standing tradition of Halloween in the Park. In 2014, the neighborhood added a 5K & Fun Run to the Nene Fest event as a fundraiser for the neighborhood school, Hartsfield Elementary.
